I am personally leaning more towards the Asus Maximus V3 but I also need to get a separate wifi card for this mobo.(an extra $60)

My second choice would be the Asus Z170 Deluxe, since it only comes to $60 more than my first preference.

Although I am wondering if the AsRock might be a better pick over the Maximus V3?

Looking to build a AWSOME computer right now, that will last me a good 5-6 years without any worries. Using for general computer usage, Live Tv/3-D movies, game streaming/recording/editing.

Out of curiosity, why are you building a gaming box that will use wifi, well unless you don't game online. Wifi causes nothing but packet loss and latency spikes for online gaming.

Personally I would go with the ASRock. Unless those far more expensive boards offer a feature that you just have to have.

darn the z170 deluxe went up in price. If you can wait why not go for the G1 from Gigabyte which dropped down to $439 this past week and went up again in price

+1 but the easy of having a wireless setup is also something to consider

I'd like to have access to wifi just for accessibility sake. I will be running an ethernet from my router directly to my pc.

I sort of have preference towards the maximus($300), but i need a wifi card($65) so $300+65 = 365.
Which is only $60 shy of the Asus Deluxe which includes better built in wifi AND bluetooth which I wouldn't mind having. The deluxe also seems like a more solid/quality product that would last longer?
