Im looking for a good gaming laptop but im not sure which model to choose

The ones that I like:

Gateway M505X

ABS ZForce2

And a HP Zd3000 (with m9200 64 mb)

Which of these notebooks would you choose? Im not from the US, so the only brand I know of these is HP, so I dont know how the other machines are.

Would you prefer a notebook I havent mentioned? In that case, which?

Btw: I dont want a desktop replacement, just a notebook that is capable of gaming. Meaning that Centrino cpu and low weight is important. Furthermore the price shouldnt rise above 2K USD

Thx in advance

Gateway notebooks in particular have failed to impress me in the past.

The Envy M355 is nice, but its 2500, bit above the 2k you said. Look at Dell's line as well, they have a pretty good price to performance ratio.

FYI, from the pic and specs this model seems to be the AOpen 1557G. This model is also sold at Internetishop in various configurations. One limitation of this model is that it only seems to be available with an XGA 1024 x 768 screen.

The hp compaq nc6000 has a 32MB Rageon 9600.

The Sager 4080 has a 128MB Radeon 9600, but may be heavier than you are looking for.

see BargainSeeker's Cheapest laptops with ATi 9600 graphics thread

I'm still waiting for someone to spot a cheaper non-Voodoo PC version of the ECS model that their M:460 is based on. (ECS G552?)

I find the envy to pricy, however its definetly a cool notebook

I already looked at sagers notebools, although powerfull they are heavy and consumes their battery in no time, hopefully they will launch a centrino model before I buy
