Which gaming laptop would you choose?

I'm in need of a laptop as I'll be traveling a lot for the next year. A gaming laptop is not essential, but it may be better just to have one.

For a maximum price of $2,000, which gaming laptop would you choose?

Requirements are at least a 15.4" screen, 1GB RAM, 256 MB VC, and a 7200RPM HD.

Any suggestions?
