Which games to be released this year are you most excited about?

I have always been a huge Supreme Commander fan so I am excited about Supreme Commander 2.

I've completed Supreme Commander and Supreme Commander Forged Alliance.

Before Supreme Commander I completed Total Annihilation, Total Annihilation Kingdoms and all of the addon packs as well 🙂

I think I'll get Bioshock 2. I throughly enjoyed the first one and hope for more fo the same here.

I have so many damn games to play though, so who knows when I will get around to it.

Not Biocrap 2 😉,hated the first one which was well overated IMHO,this year hmm probably Star Wars Old Republic(with any luck ETA end of 2010) ,ME2 is looking good, hopefully Gothic 4(Arcania) will live up to my expectations too..

Bad company 2
Battlefield 1943
& Diablo III

Was never into the first two Diablos but 3 looks fantastic.

Haha, yes, your hate of Bioshock is well known. 😀

Forgot about Old Republic. Playing KOTOR now makes me want to play that game, so lets hope it ends up coming out.

Yeah I have no interest in Bioshock 2 either. The first one wasn't really anything special IMO, especially after the "spiritual successor to System Shock 2" talk.. Which I think is what disappointed me the most after playing through it for a few hours and realizing it didn't even come close to those claims.

I'm actually only looking forward to the new Gothic game. I'm sure there will be other games i'll enjoy but there's nothing that really strikes my interest in anything other than a passing manner right now.

I must remember I'm part Jedi so hate is the wrong term 😉 ,anyway Bioshock 2 can only be better then the first one(only way is up from rock bottom).

I'm looking forward to The Witcher 2 as well but pretty sure thats still a few years away.

At this point, the only definite purchases for me will be SW:ToR, ME2, and the DA expansion. I guess I've been drinking the Bioware kool-aid lately.

There are plenty of other PC games that I might pick up if the demos or reviews are good:
- Max Payne 3
- C&C 4
- SC: Conviction
- SC2
- Bioshock 2
- Crysis 2 (maybe)
- Battlefield: Bad Company 2
- DoW2: Chaos Rising (could make DoW2 great)

I'll probably end up buying more console games than PC games for the first time ever in 2010. God of War 3, FFX13, Heavy Rain, Red Dead Redemption, M.A.G., GT 5, The Last Guardian...

I hit that point last year and it was a sad day indeed.
It's partly sad. I'm mostly disappointed that the adventure genre has all but died out although I did enjoy the Monkey Island refresh. I've also been waiting for SW:ToR far too long at this point and getting impatient.

On the other hand, I'm really looking forward to most of those PS3 titles I listed and wouldn't really enjoy them as much on the PC with the exception of probably M.A.G. Having a top-end PC for Crysis 2 and a PS3 for Heavy Rain is a luxury, but one that I'm pretty enthused about at the start of 2010.

Mass Effect 2 will probably be the highlight. I will pick it up when it is about $15 and the bugs are worked out. I still have not played gotten around to playing The Witcher yet.🙁

I'm still looking for something to get excited about. Everything feels like a sequel or the same game with updated graphics. There hasn't been anything really innovative in a long while now. The whole fps but set in the future, fps but set in the past, fps but lets add stats and call it a rpg is getting old.

I'm not looking forward to anything really. Not on the pc or console. Really disappointing. Well, except Crackdown 2.

There are so many games that I still need to get to; ahh!

I'm looking forward to Crysis 2 and Bioshock 2. The first Bioshock was amazing.
