Which game should I play?

I have for quite a while been addicted to games that don't end. Most notably World of Warcraft, Counter Strike: Source, and Trackmania 2.

I am taking a step back from these games and looking to play some quality single player games. I have tons on my steam account but don't know where to begin. Well I actually do know I started with Stacking and am really enjoying it. So hit me what should I play after this?

If you haven't played the mass effect series it is one of the best single player experiences ever.

Also Skyrim and fallout 3 + new vegas are good.
