Which game have you played the most non-stop?

Dark Age of camelot. Nimue server. Healer class at the time. 36 hours. Back when DAoC was at its peak. 2001/2002. Something like that. I'm too damn old to be doing that shit anymore. LOL

Edit: I did take a couple bathroom breaks during that time however.
 
I'm thinking Diablo 1... probably at least 15-16 hrs. Final Fantasy XI & WoW are my number one consistents at 12hrs +.

Nice....me and roomate use to play this nonstop...I don't think we ever logged a 30hr sesh but 30hrs in a weekend...yes.

I played Magic Carpet the Netherworlds from 6:30am - 8pm on my rommates computer while he was at work,,,that was prolly 1995 i'd guess and i still remember it vividly.

Next would be RTCW multiplayer 8 - 10 hour streaks...i use to dream about it i played so much
 
Everquest, Everquest, Everquest... and WoW

I never made it past the 18 hr point though. After about 10-12 hours my neck and back would start to feel tight. I would start driniking beer. Never made it past 18 hrs.

However, often I would wake up the next day, feeling a bit dry, and do it all over again.
 
Street Fighter 2, no doubt. I would go to the arcade when it opened and stay there all day playing, only taking breaks to urinate on occasion and maybe a bag of chips for lunch.

Then when it came out for SNES, I would play at my buddies place all night until I actually fell asleep with the controller in my hand.

When I say Street Fighter 2 is my favourite game of all time, I am not jiving.

I'd say Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Mass Effect 2. Tropico 4 a distant 3rd. If we go way back, probably Populous and Bard's Tale 2.

either Civ III or final fantasy 2 (got it for Christmas, shunned family for a week) or weekend final fantasy VII was released (got it on Friday, shunned dorm-mates for a week)

Natural Selection 2. Spent 117 hours on it and still haven't had enough. That game rocks!

I also played Civilization V for 78 hours, average 4-7 hours a day. Dumb AI, got bored of it eventually.

Same. If you put all the time played on all civ games I'd be 300+ though

I think the thing that made this most epic was that it was in the infancy of dial-up in my area, so none of the ISPs really new what they were doing. It was extremely common to lose my connection and white knuckle it during the dialing/squealing - desperately hoping to get back in the game. Most often, I'd come back to a corpse.

LOL I remember that; sadly I learn more than a lot of the techs at the ISPs; then City of Ashland, Oregon laid down fiber 😀
 
I played games longer when i was on dialup since only had a few hours before mom realized i was using the phone and picked up the line and started yelling at me. But UT99 and original CS was it. I played dark age of camelot a ton to.
 
I don't know how some people can keep playing for the durations stated in this thread I always felt like I had to take a break after a measley 12 hours or so D: coincidentally the longest single stretch I ever played was in the height of my WoW days and was somewhere between 10 and 14 hours I'd say.
 
Half life 1 lots of deathmatchs back in 99, after that came counter strike started with beta been playing it since then (before igot my old steam account stolen I had like 6k+ hours), also D2 and LOD for 2 years non stop, then there was lineage 2 gained 60 pounds in 6 months. ~__~

I pulled a 16 hour stint on Skyrim when it first came out. Bought it on the friday, got it installed at about 2PM, and then started playing until 6AM. I took a few 3-4h naps after that, but by the time sunday night had rolled around I had put in 39 hours of played time.

Back when I used to play WoW, I had days where the course of action was:
Wake up -> Log in -> Check auctions -> get coffee -> play -> get breakfast -> play -> bio -> play -> find snacks -> play -> ............ -> play until head hits desk and you get logged out for inactivity. 😛

I've also had a marathon playthrough of MGS4 with my friends. We really enjoyed all of the games, so when it was released one of my friends who was out of town visited for the weekend. We finished the game in about 42 hours (got stuck on one of the boss fights not really knowing what to do).
 
Once; a very long time ago; in another era; I played a diku mud by the name of copper for 48+ hours. Mind you by my standards the game isn't much but back when I played it as a first time diku mud player it totally rocked 🙂

#3 Probably Star Wars Galaxies
then Quake, Quake 2...cant even remember how much time i put in on those. A ridiculous amount.

Pulled off about 9 hours straight (well, had a 10 minute conference call and did work during the cutscenes) on Tomb Raider yesterday. May be getting older, but I can still hang in there.
