So Sun's VirtualBox is nice but does not support software virtualization of 64bit guests on a 64bit host (I can't use hardware virtualization b/c my processor doesn't support it.)

VMWare's Server2 doesn't support vista64 as a host.

Any other ideas?

After fighting with VirtualPC for a few hours on accepting Ubuntu Server 8.04 I have totally had it. I love VPC for windows vms but that's it. It totally fails me on anything else so far.

Oh, what was your question? Hehe, sorry, I'm kinda PO'd at the moment. I guess my point is shell out the dough for Workstation or use player with something like http://www.easyvmx.com/.

You sure thats still true, I'm running it on 2008 server 64bit...

The last time I tried it(a few months ago), I had driver signing issues in Vista64. You can get it going, but it's a bit of a PITA.
