Im pretty tired of P&N, especially now that the election is over, and most of the topics in there are useless. Ive tried moving over to OT a few times but, no offense to anyone here, but OT just isnt interesting enough, its just a little too mindless, and really on a day to day basis theres not that much going on, its a good filler, but trying to be 100% ATOT would leave me wanting a little more depth.

I used to hang out in the DC forums a few years back, but lost interest in it after a my main rig was stolen and I sold another. I'm not that huge into hardware anymore (though I am getting more interested in Video/DVD burning lately) But im big into programming, but the Programming forum here is shared with games and apps, and its just a wash out of lame game beta news, links to apps no ones ever heard of, and the ever present browser wars.

Can I get some guidance? or will I slip off the AT lanscape like before and not resurface for a couple years?

Or maybe I should just try to get more work done when I'm at work...

coming from P&N to OT you first need to be deloused.
next, you need to review the lightheartedness of OT, the older/wiser members could probably point you into a good direction on which threads to read.
after that, check out the highly technical forum. i'm shocked at the intelligence in there. not shocked in a bad way when i lurk in the Play peN, but in an interested way.

I would suggest hanging out in a ninja topic board. We have different categories like:

1. Spicy Chili
2. Porking (and Porked)
3. Flipping out
4. Stabbing and Cutting
5. Vikings, Pirates, Babysitters, and Moms
6. Hippos and Guitars
