Which file system is better for XP pro?

I'm not worried about security. I have a firewall for that, plus i'm not even on a LAN. I'm looking for the best performance. so is it Fat32 or NTFS?

I agree.. NTFS is the way to go.

Even if some benchmark shows that Fat32 is faster, you will never see the difference in "real world" computing.

The future of windows is NTFS (so is the past as far as NT is concerned).
 
my vote is for NTFS - Once you switch over it is hard not to notice the ease in which the FS manages itself. This is especially true on a higher performance machine.
