Which file in W2kpro.....

Without installing w2k is there a way to find out the version of w2k, like beta1 or rc1.

if you right click on the "seteup.exe" file, you can check the version number there.

Oh i did that alright rocmonster and it said version 5.00.2195 but when you install the os it's version 5.00.2195 rc1 now do you get it there all the same version but not the same built.
I don't know if there is a way before you install to expand a file that tells me that?????????

2195 means final code. that's the build number. dunno why that rc1 is there

To answer that one if you remember there was beta 1, beta 2, beta 3 and then rc1, rc2 and rc3 wich was the retail or the final....but there must be a file on the cd itself that tells you wich built no ???????

That's weird, b/c RC1 was NOT build 2195, it was 2078 or something like that (can't remember).
