Which file determines the default window manager in Mandrake?

Mandrake 8.0

I reinstalled with without gnome or KDE and now I don't have the nifty program to choose the window manager at login. What is the file that determines that so I can configure Black Box as default instead of enlightenment? Thanks.

/etc/X11R6/ and look for files/directories ending in "dm" (i.e., xdm or gdm). There are usually a few config files and such in there somewhere.

Hey!

Thanks for the information. I'm afraid Mandrake makes it hard to find. I never found it, but I did find the pretty gui that allows you to select it on the install cd's.

It's called gdm, or gnome desktop manager.

Pain in the ass to find.

Thanks again.
