squat works your thighs not your calfs (aka gastrucnemius (?))...

and are you asking major muscles or muscle groups?

any ways squats works your gluteus maximus, vastus medialis, hamstring, and quadraceps

ofcourse you could do additional movements to include more muscles, like a calf extension when you are erect in order to work your calfs, or I've seen some people do a jerk over their heads to work their triceps and deltoids, etc.

military press primarily works your bicep and triceps but it works your "shoulder" muscle (deltoid) as well as your forarms but not that much...

Low lat pulldown works your deltoid and tricep oh and your latisimus dorsi (hence the name of the excercise) these are known as the "wings"

Leg extensions work your vastus medialus and hamstrings primarily

ofcourse you work other muscles too but it depends upon the movement and your control

It works your thighs, glutes and lower back. It does little to nothing for your calves.

regular crunches is Abdominals

Yes

leg extensions

Your quads

medcine ball

Depends on what you're doing with it. I exercise my sense of humor when I throw it at people.

leg curls

your hams

Flat bench

Your pecs and triceps

Military press is shoulder muscle

Front shoulder, yes

trireps pushroom

Triceps

Pecs

lap pull down is this lat pull down?

Lats and biceps

chestfly works your pectoralis major aka "breasts" or chest (duh) but also your forarms

and medicine ball can be used for anything, most people use it for flexibility with situps (abs) and the abs on the side called obliques which are muscles that line your ribs.

Oh and leg extensions target the quadraceps and leg curls target the hamstring ... have fun!

and work everything even ;)

Uh... in that picture you have the entire arm in the middle....

below the wrist is the forearm... that is made up of a large number of muscles that share the task of opening and closing your fist and fingers. (do you really want to know all the names?)

between the elbow and the shoulder are 3 major muscles and ofcourse many submuscles...
the one that's popping up is the bicep brachii, the one popping down is the tricep brachii, and the one on top of the shoulders are the deltoids.

Any other questions?

Edit: i'm not sure of the exact spelling ... you might have to check me on it.

yes... both of those would work, however the curl would be better suited for targeting the bicep. If you work the curls long enough and all the way down so that your veins pop out then eventually you'd grow a nice lump :)

I didn't hear a thank you :(
