Samsung 120GB 840 Series SSD - 6000 Rs
Plextor M5S 128GB SSD - 6799 Rs
Kingston V300 120GB SSD - 5750 Rs
SanDisk 120GB Extreme SSD - 7000Rs

Note: Prices in India for the SSD's are not the same if converted into USD$. In out of India these products are costs almost 1500 -2000 Rs less.

Please suggest which one to pick amongst the listed items??

My choice is Kingston V300 as its the cheapest.

My working requirements, A lot of gaming, surfing web, rendering CG art and Photoshop sometimes.

I love Anandtech and hope I get best suggestions here.

Adding one more to the list "Kingston 120GB V+200 SSD" - 6899 Rs

and all the SSD's have 3 years manufacturer warranty here in India.

All the listed SSD's are not present in Bench list, and no point i benchmarking these economy SSD's.

Can anyone suggest which one will be the reliable and best performing amongst the listed??

I would personally choose the Samsung for it's reliability along with solid performance out of the bunch.

Samsung, ocz may not be around much longer, but than again, they can turn the company around.

I have tried a lot of SF based ssd, they're often not as fast as the samsung 830/840s

Samsung gets my vote! Performance, reliability, and the Magician software all make it the best buy out of the group

The Samsung 840. It's only a bit slower than the SanDisk Extreme, but it costs a good amount less yet is still faster than all the other SSDs in the list and it's very reliable as well.

Ohhh so then you're just looking for a popularity contest. In that case be ready for everyone to pimp what they themselves own. Good luck with your hocus pocus research and meaningless diligence.

Find a site that tests with use or with steady state and make your decision based off that. These FOB numbers are generally worthless.

FYI, I just wanted to know the user experience from the ppl who own these SSD's. everyone has their own experience but If you find one common thing in everyones experience (then there you find the Pros and Cons of the product) I don't get time out of my work to research in diligence, I will research on the benchmarks when I am buying 300$ SSD :p
