Which Dyson Upright should i buy?

I've been wanting to buy a Dyson for a long time. we have a pretty good vacuum cleaner in the Rainbow, but it is a bit cumbersome to use. i want something more convenient for the daily stuff. i figure if i'm going to get one, i might as well get a good one, the Dyson seems to fit the bill.

now the only question is, do i buy the basic yellow one for $400.00 or the fully loaded purple one at about $530.00.

what do you guys think?

none😛 consumer reports shows that its more marketing than anything else. it works as well as other vacumns, but mostly u are paying for the looks.
