Which DVI port on the 5850 is display #1?

I hate how the 5850 doesn't properly label which output is for monitor #1. Initially I assumed that the top DVI output would be for display #1, but it's not. So in effect in my dual-LCD setup, the right LCD is monitor #1 while the left LCD is monitor #2. This wouldn't be a problem if I look from right to left, but I think most if not all people look from left to right (possibly a Western thing). So how can you guys tell? What happens when you factor in HDMI and Displayport?

Good questions. I'm emailing AMD about this on monday, because it's a frigging pain just setting up TWO monitors with 2 dvi-cables. Heck, it's also a hassle to use a dvi- and a displayport-cable.

Top that off with running my television though a dvi port, and you've got yourself quite a mess. I wonder if there is some kind of instruction on what screen to hook up first or into what port.

I don't think it should matter, either display works, and you can always switch screens (left to right and vice-versa) from within CCC.

Please let me know what they say? It's freakin annoying especially when I reformat my computer. Obviously now that I know, I can just rearrange my DVI cables, but what if I move alot? Still it's better to know than not to know.

It's not a major issue once you figure out which output is for monitor #1, but I like to know before hand. Over time I'll also forget.

Yes, I can always switch from the CCC, but it's annoying having to do that! I rather know before and then just get things right from the get-go!
