I see this is an old post to my search for the 930b, but I need to rant.
Answer to your question is male to male.
My father bought this moniter at Circuit City while I was with him. I asked the salesguy if a DVI cable was included and he said yes. Get it home and no cable. I head back to CC to get the cable and guess what they want to charge?
They have 3 different lengths : $129.99, $99.99, $89.99. Outrageous!
Next stop is CompUSA. After browsing the cables I see one for $79.99. I search for a salesguy to see if they have any generic, reasonably priced ones and am told they don't carry DVI cables. Rather than get in a discussion with this guy as to why they don't carry common monitor cables when they really did carry overpriced ones, I left.
Next stop was GT Computers, kinda mom and pop local store with locations in Northern Virginia where I'm at.
$19.99 for a six foot cord.
What's up with the price gouging at the major chains?

Cables are one of their biggest money makers (allong with warranties).

They can sell displays at reasonable prices and make up the difference in accesories and warranties.

(Monstercable is a great example, as my sig notes)

You're right about the monstercables. A guy at radio shack tried to sell me a DVI cable for $130! I told him that was a rip off and he started feeding me BS about why the price is justified.

He said the cable cleans your electricity.

I'm not kidding.
