Which DVD recorder?

I currently only have a DVD burner on my laptop and I considering getting the first DVD burner for one of my PC's. I am thinking of getting the Pioneer DVR-109 or the NEC ND-3520A. I have seen many favorable reviews for the NEC drive, but since the Pioneer is relatively new, I have not seen any reviews for it. Do any of you have experience with the Pioneer drive? Thanks for your help.
 
I like my NEC 3500 so I say get the NEC but they both are great drives. It will be a no wrong desision on your part.
