Which drivers w/8800GT?

After floating around the web I have found a massive disparity in what drivers are offered, being used and are stable. I'm lookin to play COD4, Doom3, Oblivion, Crysis eventually, Star Gate Worlds, etc. Box is going to be an E6750 w/Gigabyte mobo, Corsair 550VX power supply, 2GB RAM and XP32.

Personally I use the latest WHQL from Nvidia's site.

I also used the latest WHQL drivers for the 8800GT in the PC i recently built for my mate had no stability issues. The only problem with the current driver i have is; the universal 3D settings in the control panel seem to override any custom profiles you set. For example if you have 4x MSAA set globally, and you create a custom profile for UT3 with 0x AA, it will still launch UT3 with 4x MSAA. Never had this problem in previous builds.
