which drivers to use?

This is probaly a dumb question but what drivers do you recommend using?

For example, with an asus nforce4 motherboard, should I use asus's drivers or download nvidias?

For my xfx vid card, use xfx's or use nvidias?

For cool n' quite should I use asus's or AMD's?

Basically, should you use the the sources drivers (Nvidia, AMD, etc) or the manufacturers (XFX, Asus, etc.)?

personally I would start with the manufacturers drivers and then if there is problems start looking for better ones.
