which drivers for Radeon? what are you using?

I'm not a gamer.. I just use a lot of graphic apps.. 3DStudio too... I heard that the factory drivers off of the CD are the worst out there.. or that all the betas or whatever are better.. which ones have ppl been using and how happy are you with em?

I have been using the .3073 win2k drivers. In my setup, I have found these to be the most stable while offering the most features. I tried the latest DirectX 8 betas, but they were very unstable in my system.

However, I have heard from others that the latest betas are working great. I suggest then to check out Rage 3D, and give a few sets of drivers a spin. Make sure to properely uninstall and reinstall each time however.

I'm using the 3063 drivers on my Radeon AIW.

After MUCH testing I've settled on the 7078s followed closely by the 7041s.

I'm using the 3100's, I use graphics applications as well as games.

I'm using the latest directx8 betas. seem solid in 98 and 2k.

i am using the 7078 driver with no troubles at all in WinME

I've had the best luck with the 7041's. Win98
