which drivers do i install for the 8k7a?

do i just install all the drivers off of the cd that came with it? or are there drivers that perform better somewhere else?

Um install the drivers.

Then download the newest 4in1's, install all BUT ther agp driver.

Then you will be good to go.

how do i unstall the drivers? so do i leave the amd miniport installed? which 4in1's exactly?

Put in the cd and run that. Reboot. Then download the 4in1's and click to run it. Uncheck AGP, and run rest of it. 4 in 1's are a combo of 4 drivers made by a chipset maker (VIA). They make the southbridge chipset on your computer (controls IDE and stuff). Becuase you have a AMD Nortrhbridge, you do not need the VIA AGP driver.

You do not need ANY VIA driver for the current AMD 760 boards. They have a VIA Southbridge, but the ME and W2K drivers work 100%, and the VIA drivers are notoriously troublesome. The AGP driver for the Northbridge is outdated for both ME and W2k. Do'nt waste your time by installing them. Just let Win install the provided drivers,and download then the latest directly from www.amd.com :)
