Which do you think would be faster??

I just got a 256MB PC133 Dimm. I already have a 128MB PC100 Dimm and a 64MB PC100 Dimm.

Right now I am running all the memory in my system at 100Mhz. Do you think just selling the 192MB of PC100 dimms and running at 133mhz would be faster or would the extra ram make enough difference to offset decrease in bus speed?

Running the 256 at 133mhz would be faster. I doubt you could use any more than that, so sell the rest or use it in another system.

what are you running it in?
Does your pc100 overclock?
Good pc100 should overclock to 133 with no problem.

I myself am running Micron pc100 at host+pci clk=133 and works fine.2 2 2

Save your RAM right now cuz it doesn't worth very much selling. Wait for price to go back up then sell just like stock.

I seriously doubt that my 128mb PC100 stick will overclock. At the time I bought some really generic stuff. I was actually completely surprised when it worked in my duron system. The 64mb stick I got from Muskin so I assume it is some good stuff.
