Which do j00 prefer? an MS Live account or a Local account for Windows 8?

I have always used a local account as I *think* that the live account will slow my lappy down

what do j00 use?
 
On my Laptop, at the moment I only have a Local.(although I dont use win8 enough)

What the live account will do is change some of the default save locations to Skydrive and allow sort of Roaming Profiles/Synced Settings of the account between multiple computers/devices
