Ive been offered one of the following two monitors,


Now the s730 is supposed to be the value range *thats what the s denotes in this case* but it has a 16ms response time and apparently a 500:1 contrast ratio. As far as I can tell thats as good as you can get in a 17" at the moment

but the PV722i is their expensive executive model.... I can't see any reason why it should be

Which do you think i should get. I can get either of them so I want to make the right choice *price is not an issue*
Don't suggest any other brands or anything im getting this very cheap.

I just want to know why the apparently inferior model is so much more at retail, am i missing something. ?????

This is an easy one S730 of course. Guaranteed no dead pixels and a 16ms response time.

yeah i think so too, im just wondering where the catch is ....

Kinda confuses me why the other one is marketed as the better model

The other has more features dvi, pivot etc... But if your gaming the S730 would be better.

Yeah i didn't notice those, its ok i am a games programmer so yeah programming, gaming and the odd Divx
I always have my 19" CRT as well, im looking forward to using the DVI out on my Radeon, i havent had a chance to see what kind of difference DVI really makes yet
