Which display port shall I connect my PG278Q to?

I see there are 3 display ports on the back of my 980 Ti GTX, now I have 2 980 Ti cards in SLI mode

The question is, which display port is best to connect the monitor to? Does it matter anyway?

When in SLI performance is best on the 3rd odd numbered Display port counting clockwise from the upper right when facing the rear of the PC.
