Fantasia. Don't know how you could vote for anything else.

Ya really

Fantasia> all disney movie soundtracks
In my mind, the question should be Original soundtracks.

Beauty and the Beast wins for me, with Lion King and Jungle Book a close tie for 2nd.

In your opinion....

I'm still partial to the old stuff; Little Mermaid, Aladdin....

Lion King was also excellent.

Aladdin and little mermaid are old stuff?

Little Mermaid came out 18 years ago.
Aladdin came out 15 years ago.

Yes, i consider that old 🙂

Add Beauty and the Beast and you have a good group.

The Jungle Book had some good classic songs, but overall

The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King were the best streak of animated musicals Disney ever did.

Actually, The Rescuers Down Under came between Little Mermaid and Beauty...

Evidently only 3 of us recognize that.

I was going for best original soundtrack, actually. Most of Fantasia can be found elsewhere. As a group, though, it is quite awesome.

Mary Poppins 🙂

Surprised this didn't get mentioned earlier 😉. I don't think many people realize that ol' Walt did Mary Poppins (not in that way either :Q).

Oh and I don't really have a favorite per say. Music is memorable if it reminds you of something (typically from said feature film). I mean, I can listen to the boss theme (Battle 2) from Final Fantasy IV and picture the Valvadez fight in my head where Rosa keeps telling Kain to jump. Now that's a memorable song! Or you can go into anime where probably the most memorable I can think of would be from Scryed where Sekai Mikio's All I Need Is Love plays while Ayane dies from being "enhanced." Such an emotional scene 🙁.

Albeit, I do remember practically every song mentioned in this thread, I don't find any of them to be memorable. Except I do remember being in chorus in high school and having to sing Hakuna Matata 😛.

Snow White came out in 1937.

Aladdin and the Little Mermaid are most certainly not old.

Tarzan is the most memorable to me. Second is Lilo And Stitch for the Elvis covers. Aladdin is third for the Robin Williams Friend Like Me song. I can't stand the Little Mermaid chick. I can't remember any Lion King songs. The rest are kinda one hit wonders.
