Which Direction for Case Fans ?

Ok I just got my Lian Li V1000B Plus. In it are these 120mm fans.

Scenario 1:

ADDA - seated in front of HDD in chamber below - Intake
ADDA - seated at rear of case - Exhaust
Silverstone FM121 - located in blowhole - Intake
Blower fan - located above rear fan - Exhaust

I have my Zalman 9500 blowing directly into the rear ADDA exhaust.

Scenario 2 :

ADDA - lower chamber - Intake
ADDA - at rear of case - Intake (Changed)
Silverstone - located in blowhole - Exhaust (Changed)
Blower fan - Exhaust

I will have the rear ADDA fan blow into my Zalman 9500. I will change the Zalman around and then have it intake the cool air from the intake fan, instead of exhausting into it as in the above scenario.

Which Scenario will give me better cooling and why ?

Also should I change the ADDA fans to something more powerful ? I believe they spin at 1500rpm and put out about 73cfm. In contrast to the Silverstone I bought, which puts out 103CFM.

Scenario 1.

The other would seriously confuse the airflow route inside your case, causing a hell of turbulence and in the end poorer airflow.

If however you were to duct the rear fan to the zalman and cut a blowhole in the top of the case as part of the same duct then you might be able to run the machine that way.

It's not a great plan i'm afraid, i'd leave it as scenario 1.

I do have the duct going from the Zalman to the rear fan. I was wondering if I have the rear fan blow on the 9500 as an intake, whether that will be better than the Zalman blowing into the rear fan as an exhaust ?

It's mostly a case by case basis with how your computer is arranged on your desk. If your case is easy to get in to, just try a few different ways, changing them out after every couple of days, and see what works best.

Usually for me, front intake and rear exhaust work best, any side fans do well as intake, too.

The idea is ALWAYS to get cooler air into the case... since warm air rises, the fans higher up should be exhaust... at least that's my theory. If you have fans blowing in air from where there is a hot spot behind your desk or something, all you are doing is blowing in air that is already warm. It won't help much.
