I just bought a stick of Crucial PC-2700 512MB from someone on the forum. I know that these have known to be a problem on 8RDA+ NF2 boards in dual channel so that's why I'm only using one stick cuz' 512MB is enough for me. Anyways, is there a particular dimm slot to put it in, I'm currently using dimm slot 1. What slots are you guys using for 1 dimm usage for NF2 boards? The stick would not boot at 166mhz and CAS 2. I had to slow it down to 155mhz and cas2 or I can run it at 166mhz with CAS 2.5. I hope that it can go higher.

From the user's manual:

"For one DIMM memory configuration, the DIMM can be located on either of DIMM#1 to DIMM#3 in 64-bit mode."

So, it doesn't matter..

(BTW, have you tried setting your mem at, say, 167? There have been reports that people have done this and had compatibility issues mysteriously solved..)

Yeah I had to use that module at cas 2.5 in order to hit 166 MHz or higher.. my older (now gone) 8KHA+ maintained 172 MHz at 5-2-2-2.0 timings with the same module.

Anyways, Blooz1 pretty much answered your question.. it can be put in any of the three slots.

That's what I read also, but because Nforce2 boards are so picky about memory sticks, I wasn't sure if there were certain dimms slots that were better for single dimm usage. I may try running at 167mhz to see if that works. Thanks everybody.
