My home was prewired with a cable modem and a router.
So each room has a connector to the router.
I'm trying to put 3 to 4 computers to share internet connection in a room.
What kind of device should I use?
Tried to extra router, but it doesn't work.
Thanks.

Router will work. Set it to auto dhcp with starting address of xxx.xxx.xxx.100 or 200 if you have wireless. where the X's are the same as your current router.
A switch is another route to take.

I reconneted and it seems everything fine, but I can't navigate to any site.
All the setting looks normal.
Any Idea?

Yes, it is.
No change at all on the address, whether I bypass the second router(and it's working fine) or I connect the second router.

Modem=>first router=>PC working fine.
Modem=>first router=>second router=>PC not working. All the indication it has no problem, but can't navigate to any site.

The Ip address, degault gateway etc are showing same in both cases.
