I am ready to set up my son's Duel Boos WIn2k/Win98 system as follows:

Celeron 1.ghz
BH6 rev 1.0
GF2 MX original
Win98 / Win2k duel boot

Which Det's would be best for this system with each of the two OS's (Win98 & Win2k)?

I run a 1.13ghz athlon, GF2MX, on W2k. I usually use the latest offical drivers from nvidia. I currently use 23.12 (not offical), but the 23.11s are (which i used for about a month before I went to 23.12s).

I wouldn't say its the best, but I'm sure, They aren't the worse, My system has been stable, and I play alot of games. And I really could care less about .2 fps extra between drivers.

I'm not sure if this was any help. But heres my 2 cents.

BUMP

IMHO, for Win 98 is Detonator 21.83 (official) and Win 2K is Detonator 23.11 (official)😉
NVidia Driver is a universal driver, just a single driver for almost of NVidia chip based board.
Its range is very wide, from Riva TNT up to GeForce3 Ti500
NVidia split each version of Detonator driver to two categories :
a. Driver for Win 9x/Me
b. Driver for Win 2K/XP

I have the BH6 rev 1.0 also. I'm thinkg of upgrading to a Celeron 1.ghz. Does the motherboard support it?

PookyBoy,

Yes the BH6 rev 1.0 supports the 1ghz and I have heard even the 1.1 (Coppermine Not Tuliatan Core) with the latest SS Bios.
Do a search for Celeron and read up and you will find the details.

Good Luck

Using 12.41, win2k.

Have yet to find a convincing reason to upgrade, especially since they didn't fix the tv-out issues.
