Which dessert should I bake?

I need something to snack on, and I have nothing better to do.

So.
I'm going to bake a nice dessert for me and my housemates.
Since it is customary for a poster to ask ATOT about every aspect of their lives, here's my contribution.

Should I make a pie, a cake, cookies, or cupcakes?

The cake would either be chocolate or white cake, the cookies would probably be soft chocolate chip, the pie would probably be apple, and the cupcakes would probably be white cake with frosting.

cake. Nothing like a Vanilla flavored cake, layered with chocolate frosting. Basic, but sometimes simple is better.

Make SURE it is a layered cake. This single pan stuff is no good. Use 1 1/2 cans of frosting...im hungry now. I hate you.

Bottom and sides are white genoise (like white cake, but slightly more moist) topped with bavarian cream flavored with puree of black currants. It's topped with a glaze made from black currant puree.
