For $960 - $150 MIR ($810) I can get

P4 2.4 Ghz, 15.0 XGA, 256 DDR, 40 GB. CDRW/DVD Drive/32 MB Rage Mobility 7500

or For

$923 - $250 I can Get ($673)

I can Get Celery 2.0/14.1/256 MB/30 GB/CDRW/DVD DRIVE/Probably a Generic Intel Graphics Card

Does the extra $140 justify a bigger screan, more HDD space, and a slightly better Vid Card?

Who knows? You haven't told us what you planning on doing with it yet or how much $140 means to you. If it doesn't mean much go for more. If it means alot tell us what you will use the laptop for.
