Going in my new x58 build. All I have so far is the MB; ASUS Rampage II Extreme

I will probably end-up with an i920 & will use my V7700 GPU, for now.

I'll OC the system but, probably, will not push the voltage up much past 'stock' Used mostly for rendering and CAD work, occassional game

G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Brand G.SKILL

Speed DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Cas Latency 9
Timing 9-9-9-24
Voltage 1.5V ? 1.6V

or

OCZ 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Brand OCZ
Speed DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Cas Latency 7
Timing 7-7-7-20
Voltage 1.5V

G.Skill hands down. Don't like OCZ RAM, bad experiences.

Look at it this way, the DDR3-1600 will probably do CAS7 if you only clock it at 1333 speeds while there's no guarantee the OCZ 1333 will be able to run 1600 if you happen to need the extra speed for some reason.
