Which DDR chipset does HP use in their Athlon systems?

The HP phone rep had no clue. My guess is it's between the 760 and the Ali Magik, with the Magik more likely because of price. Actually, I want to broaden my question to find out which DDR chipset most of the "big" OEM's are currently using with their Athlon systems.

I'm advising my in-laws on whether to have me build them a PC or to just go and buy one from an OEM.
Buying a ready made system saves a lot of potential headaches, but I want them to have the best possible performance because they won't upgrade for at least 3 years. HP looks good, but I want to know what they are using since their is a performance difference between chipsets. Optimally, I'm looking for an OEM who uses one of the faster Athlon chipsets.

Thanks!

HP doesn't have ANY DDR options right now. Thats probably why the phone rep didn't know. Also stay away from HP's new Summer 2001 Athlon systems (yet to be released) they're selling Athlon 1.2 systems with 149W power supplies.

ROTFLMAO! I guess their PCs will come with a stationary bicycle that you can pedal to generate more power.

Or maybe HP will call it their "California Edition" PC.

they would probably use the ali chipset with pc1800 DDR ram(with would be slower than a 133MHz kt133a system)
