Which DC project will work better on my machines? UD or Folding

I was wondering which would be the best project to run on my machines. Meaning which will have the greatest impact on the projects goal. I have UD on both machines right now but I am considering a switch to a folding project on one of the machines.

Dell Intel 845 P4 1.4G, 256 PC133

Via KT133 T-bird 700, 256 PC 133

If a folding project will be better which one should I run F@H or Distributed Folding?

At the moment I am thinking to go with F@H.

While we're on this subject, I'd like to know which projects make the best use of larger L2 cache processors? Many of us are aware that the SETI client works well with larger cache sizes(512k plus), but I'm curious to know if there are any other projects that get a BIG boost in performance if run on, say.. p2-400 Xeons with 2meg L2 cache. 😀

EDIT: Yes, I'm well aware that the newer SETI clients do not benefit near as much from larger L2 cache as in days gone by, but it still helps. 😉

With 256MB of RAM you would be able to utilize the new setting in Distributed Folding that uses 125MB of RAM and doubles the speed of the client. Also since it is a smaller project each pc makes a bigger impact. Other than those things I'm not sure about speeds or anything.

?!? Link? I missed that. I have a system over here that has way to much ram 🙂 Where can I download and install?

Thanks for the response. I also was wondering which project was making the most progress in its goals. Which one has been making the most breakthroughs? I want to be able to help a project that is not making as much progress in its work so long as they have been making good decisions in what problems to pursue. That is probably a question that is difficult to answer. BTW, I forgot to mention the Dell has dial up and the Athlon has DSL. If that makes any difference in the effectiveness.

Internet connection type shouldn't make much of a difference.

Muttley has posted some good info on the progress of Distributed Folding in this thread if you can understand it all.😕
