Could go with a solid known overclocker, or a 2500+

I don't have the ram yet, but will get something DECENT.

The 1700+ would be multipler unlocked as well.

for maximum OC % the 1700 will be the winner, but the extra cashe is nice on the Barton.

I ran a jiuhb0312 1700 for about a year on a Abit KD7, it was a very nice set-up.

both those chips will prob run in the 2200-2400 range with decent air cooling.
