I am putting together a new system & have bought this board. Basically I am deciding between an Athlon 64 X2 and an Opteron cpu..the 2 in particular I am looking at are the Opteron 175 Denmark 2.2 ghz cpu and the Athlon 64 X2 4400+(89W) Toledo 2.2GHz from Newegg.
I've seen there are some others that have run Opterons on this board but I'm not 100% sure of the compatibility of the cpu & board.
I want a stable system primarily, not planning to overclock much. Some video editting. What would be a better cpu to buy???
