Which CPU is faster?

I came across an unused Athlon XP 2100+ processor at work. It has no need so I was thinking of swapping it with my Sempron 2400+. Isnt the XP faster since it has a bigger cache?
 
yea, im not sure of the core though. how can i tell? does it say it on the cpu?
all i can remember is the XP cpu was bought a year ago while the sempron was purchased earlier this year.
