I havn't read reviews on the other two, but after owning a seasonic X series I know they are top notch.
Chances are the corsair is also top notch.
The only thermaltake psu I owned was junk (rebranded older tech).

The AX850 is a rebranded X-850 You'll be buying quality either one, I'd just buy corsair for the awesome almost perfect RMA support, Thermaltake on the other hand is a piece of ju... you know the rest.

Wondering what you need 850W for?

The only unit better than X-850/AX850 is X-860/AX860i which are 80+ Platinum

as Necc mentioned above, the Corsair AX850 is simply a re-branded SeaSonic X-850. not long ago i would have recommended the Corsair AX850 over the SeaSonic X-850 for the longer warranty AND the superior RMA service...now i can only recommend the Corsair unit based on superior RMA service b/c SeaSonic has since increased the warranty period on their X-seires PSUs to match Corsair's 7-year warranty on their AX series PSUs.

also, my recommendation based on RMA service should be taken w/a grain of salt b/c i don't have first hand experience with SeaSonic's RMA service. that part of my recommendation comes from the handful of times that i've seen forum members comment about a less-than-stellar RMA experience...so while i can't say for certain that SeaSonic's RMA process is a PITA, everything i read indicates that its easier to deal w/ Corsair when it comes to RMA's.

that said, you can see in my sig that i'm quite fond of SeaSonic built products...and had sales on the equivalent Corsair AX series PSU's ever been as good as they were for the SeaSonic X-series PSU's, i would have gone that route b/c at the time the X-series PSUs only had a 5-year warranty.

i know nothing about the Thermaltake unit, but if its not made by SeaSonic, Delta, CWT, or a few other top notch manufacturers, i wouldn't even consider it.

by the way, i should mention that newegg has a $40 off promo code for the SeaSonic X-850 (EMCXVWV28, ends tomorrow), as well as a $20 MIR, which brings the price down to $109.99 shipped.

and the Corsair has a 15% off promo code right now (EMMCSP15, expires 2/14) and a $10 MIR, for a price of $134.49...unfortunately shipping is $5.99 on this unit.

I was going to mention what Sunny129 said. I'm actually hitting the trigger on the SeaSonic.

w/ the 15% off promo and the $10 MIR, the AX750 comes to $117.49 shipped. w/ the 15% off promo and the $20 MIR, the AX760 comes to $132.99 shipped. that's only a difference of $15.50, but if you're not the type who doesn't mind waiting for a rebate, then the price difference is a slightly more substantial $25.50 (including the 15% off discount only). is the platinum unit worth the price premium? i don't know for sure...but i'd be willing to bet that the gold unit (AX750) is power-efficient enough that the reduction in your electric bill over the course of an entire year (let alone just one month) by going w/ the platinum unit (AX760) would not translate into a dollar amount equal to or greater than the difference in initial investment (selling price). so IMO choosing the AX760 over the AX750 is really about peace of mind, and not so much about a substantial difference in quality and/or electric bill savings.

I purchased the AX760. The voltage regulation in reviews is about 1% compared to the 2/3% on he AX750. (Johnnyguru/techpowerup) Plantinum is an additional perk.

Hopefully it's every bit as good as the AX750 in every other regard. (I did look at the AX760i, but the software doesn't interest me and the fan is supposed to be low/lower quality and costs more)

Currently
Intel i5 750 (planning on upgrading to the next gen this spring/summer)
^Overclocked to 3.7ghz
Nvidia GTX 680 factory OC (not interested in SLI)
Basic addons

Max draw atm at the plug (AC) is about 400 watts. So I imagine a 760 would be plenty and keep me near that peak efficiency at the middle.
