Which controller should I use to create a mirror on this Supermicro server?

I plan on buying this Supermicro server at work (small business):
SuperServer 1018D-73MTF
http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/1018/SYS-1018D-73MTF.cfm

It's going to run Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, and I'm going to start with a couple of SATA SSDs in a mirror.

For this I have two options it seems:

  • use the integrated SATA controller from the southbridge (C222)
  • use the LSI 2308 SAS controller

Which RAID controller would you use for this array and why?
