Depends on what you mean "in general". If I walked on to a college campus around here I'd have one opinion. If I walked into a random walmart around the US I'd have another.

Plus I'd have one opinion if I walked onto the campus of USC vs. walking onto something like Western IL University.

If you find a small enough population you can work it to your favor. But we've got a huge population...both in numbers and waistlines. I'd wager you'd have a better chance of finding a normal sized female in Europe in about any random population than you do here. So that automatically improves your chances of them being better looking.
