😱 Im building my first box and I'm ready to start plugging in power supply to cdr/hdd/etc.. does it matter which connectors go to which divice and can you put more that one on a connector?? eg cpu cooler fan and case inlet fan.. can they go on same psu connector? Also can hdd and cdrw be powered from the same cable or will this cause a problem?? Some of the connectors have 2 different ends on them.. one end has four fat pins and the other has 4 tiny/pins (dont know terminology). can the tiny one be used to power the floppy instead of using the adapter that came w/floppy?? It's an enlight case w/340w psu.. can anyone provide a link to the psu wiring diagram ore maybe a one line drawing.. dont need a schematic as im not an electronics tech. I can however read electrical drwgs.. As I am an instrumentation tech I am somewhat familiar.. Thanks

It does not matter which devices you plug into the power connectors.
You can plug in say the hard drive and CDrom drive on the same cable that has two connectors.
The four "fat" pins are for your hard drives, DVD/CDrom drives, and usually case fans.
The small tiny four pin (flat correct? I assume its not in a square formation) connector is usually for the floppy drive.
Good luck with your first rig 🙂.
