Which config is better for gaming

I'm buying a new laptop, and the 2 that I'm looking at are very similiar with a couple differences. I would like to know which one would be best for gaming. WoW and CSS will mainly be played.

Notebook 1:

Mobile AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
SiS Chipset
Mobile ATI Radeon 9700 128MB
2GB PC 3200 DDR Ram

Notebook 2:

AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology MT-30 Processor w/ 1MB L2 Cache 1.6 Ghz Ultra Low Voltage 25Watt
ATI RX 480M + ATI SB 400 Chipset
Mobile ATI Radeon X700 128MB
1.5GB PC 3200 DDR RAM

I would go for the Turion notebook just because it would have the longer battery life. The difference between the graphics capabilities wouldn't be too great (but I'd image the X700 to be marginally better than the 9700).

The 2nd notebook will be MUCH faster. The 9700 is only a 4-pipe card whereas the x700 is an 8-pipe card. Plus the other reasons already noted.

Dunno how everyone else missed this 😛

It really depends on what you're going to be aiming for - mobility and battery life would favor the Turion, and gaming would favor... oh wait, the Turion would probably win there too 😉

It's a close call... the A64 3000+ might do better but the 9700 is probably a little dated compared to the X700.
