Which concept car will we see on the streets first--the Dodge Razor or the Pontiac Solstice?

I guess this has to do with stuff you already know as well as which company you think is better about putting their popular concepts out into mainstream production.

I saw these in a magazine next to each other and would take either of them if they were produced (both are estimated to be priced 15k-20k)

..anyhow, discuss :)

Here's links:

Solstice most definitely. It has the best chances of production being that it is based on a production chassis and uses many GM parts. The Razor just looks too busy.

Chrysler has a better history of producing their concept cars though

At a price of $15k, do you think this could get 100,000 sales?

No kidding, that's the first Pontiac that I actually *like*. Personally I think that the designer of the Razor got lazy and just put a hard shell on a Copperhead. I agree that the razor is too busy, but it is also too close to the design of the Viper. I'd have to say that the Solstice would probably be accepted better, so it would be release first more than likely.

The Pontiac is the Best bet. With this being the last year of the firebird, Pontiac needs a rear drive sports car. And this would be a great one. It does not have history of the Firebord or a GTO, but It has a good start..

Whats not to like about it?

Not if you are a car person. I love the old FireChickens and Goats.

I drive a 1975 Chevy Monza 2+2 with Factory V-8 and 4 speed
