Which computer company makes batter computers?

I need some help deciding what kind of computer is better... The companys im looking at are HP,Gateway,Averex, and Acer. I am currently in the process of deciding which company i should buy my laptop from... I am on a $800.00 budget and i want to have Vista Home Premium and a good battery life

You're going to be hard pressed to beat the Dell deals or the specials that local stores run (BestBuy, CircuitCity, etc).
