Which company has the worst tech support?

I say Primavera. They are a large company that produces planning & management software. I've been on hold for 1 hour (and counting, as I type this) - I haven't spoken to a person yet.

This is the second time today for this. The same thing happened this morning. I was on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, only to get a tech who sounded like he was still asleep and was very little help.

We pay these people several K's a year - is this the best they can do?

I always had a horrible time with Verizon when I had them for DSL. Just terrible.

groupe schneider (french company that owns lots of other companies). you call them with anything, they will sit ya on hold for a while uually, then take all your info and based on your level of support tell you when a tech will call you back. we have the highest level of support and it is a 2 hour call back. they actually tell some customers they will call back within 24 hours. that really sucks. unfortunately there int anyone ele to call when you use modicon PLCs so you just have to deal with it. oh, and they maintain no DB for user manuals online, so you have to call them to get it sent to you.
