I'm looking to upgrade my video card and I need some advice, like everone else. I currently have the AIW Radeon and the MSI mobo based on the via 266 chipset. I cant stand my radeon anymore cause it throws an infinite loop and other bsod crashes under WinXP. It also crashes under 2k, regardless of the drivers used. I know that I want a Geforce card and I know to wait till the 4's come out. Which one, 3 or 4, I dont know, it depends on price and how much money I have next month. My real question is which company? I know that anand did a review of some Ti's and so did toms, but what do the users think. I want something that will be stable today, and tomorrow, and a few months from now when I upgrade the mobo to so something better. Overclocking isnt important and neither is tons of software, but I want something good. I know I want video out and in if possible, though its not necessary, but a plus. It needs to work with a Hauppauge WinTV Theatre and the SB Audigy Gamer. The glasses seem to a plus if they work well, I am always up for new cool toys.

wait for the Gainward Geforce 4 ti 4200. They should be priced similar to the Geforce 3 ti 200, but perform better than the ti 500, and also have extra features.

Thanks n18Mets, anyone else have any other info on companies like Gainward, MSI, Asus, Leadtec, VisionTek, etc? I havent determined which chipset, but I'm not worried about that right now. Thats an easy decision, buy the best I can afford. I am more interested in getting a solid card with good features. Gainward is definetly a choice, what else do you all know.

Thanks
Kevin
