For a good dose of reality, I love Doonesbury. Sunday's was a classic.

Zits is good, it's scary sometime how the writer manages to capture the relationship between a teen-ager and his parents.
Calvin and Hobbes is also great, but the Oregonian cancelled it
Foxtrot is pretty good. I mean, any comic that has a character shouting "All your base are belong to us!" through a whole strip ain't bad.
