Do you like the oil & vinegar one or the creamy style?

I like the oil & vinegar one myself.

Oil and vinegar is good with fries, but creamy is actually edible in bites larger than teaspoons.

Creamy coleslaw is just nasty stuff only carb fiend, soon-to-be diabetics could love, even with pineapple. Freezer coleslaw (icebox coleslaw, also apparently called oil and vinegar slaw though I don't recall it being made with oil) is quite tasty.

I vote creamy. However, I always find that coleslaw needs pepper.

Coleslaw has a cultish following amongst my friends. Here's a little gem that randomly occurred during a lunchtable conversation in college:

Friend 1: Honestly, do you know anything that is worse than coleslaw?
Friend 2: ...
Friend 3: The Holocaust.

FIN

This was a dead serious converstion, too.

I might mention that creamy coleslaw doesn't have to be sweet and contrarily I have made sweet oil and vinegar coleslaw.

It is usually mixed with a dressing which traditionally consists of vegetable oil and vinegar or a vinaigrette.

That wiki page could use some work. Cheeslaw sounds revolting.

Wiki is wrong once again. Slaw is not new and has been eaten around the world from Thailand to the Caribbean BUT, Coleslaw is an American invention and has a mayonnaise base sweetened with sugar.

Da Chef has spoken. So, let it be written. So, let it be done.

never really heard of oil and vinegar style, but since I don't like the mayo/creamy one, I voted for it

Russian is good but, reuben's are generally made with thousand island. Patty melts are made for slaw and so are 'loose meat' sandwiches.
