Which class of GeForce 2 should I get?

Not the Ultra...too pricey me thinks...
I might consider the MX but I'm not sure it's enough of an upgrade over my V3-2000...

I'm thinking GTS or Pro most likely...

Edit: class of added to title...I don't want a company I'll decide on that myself...just which class should I get?

If you're going to go GTS then go with the Asus V7700. If you go for the Pro then I believe your only option is the Hercules. I've got the Pro, and I love it. You can pick one up on pricewatch for just a little more than a 64MB GTS. However, the Pro probably won't offer of much overclockability as the GTS.

only one i've heard of, i got the asus v7700 and it's given me less probs then everyhting else in my computer. SOlid preformance with out to much of a prce tag...

How's the 2D quality of the Asus V7700?

I know all about the nastiness of nVidia 2D, but apperntly with a little work on the board making side the 2D can be cleaned up a bit and I only use 800x600 or 1024x768 at 32bit colour with an 85Hz refresh so a V7700 would probably be ok for me at that res yes?
